Rectangular shape, Six-piece birch bark construction, sewn together with black cotton thread, Separate lid, attached to box with three sets of stitches, All edges of box and lid have bundled sweet grass border whip-stitched with black cotton thread, All walls have birch bark liner, Unflattened quillwork design, Sides have a lattice-stitch design of a series of overlapping diagonals to form multiple x's, Longer sides have additional central design of parallel diagonal quills in a three 'x' pattern, Lid has same lattice-stitch designs plus a central satin and outline stitched floral design.
