Large, made from a single piece of wood. Widest at centre, with shallow depression on one side for handgrip. Deep nocks at either end to hold bowstring. at one end, on concave side is written "outer side of bow". Therefore bow reversed it curve when unstrung. At one tip, bow is wrapped with bark.;;

1915/07/-1915/09/, Six Nations Reserve, Ontario, Canada, (from catalogue card) (Waugh) Foot bow, obtained by John Jamieson Jr. for his uncle John Powless (Onondaga). The bow was formerly owned by the latter's grandfather which would make it from 80 to 100 years old or more.
