This ancestor is a rectangular shaped medicine board. Made from maple wood, this ancestor is thicker in the centre, and has engravings of two humans and one deer figure. This patterns are said to be displayed on the edges of both faces of the board. This item is located in the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Prescription stick is made of a flat rectangular piece of maple with a concave/convex section.
Rectangular shape, carved to form slightly thicker at middle than at edges; plant and one four-legged that looks like a deer and two human figures. Pohrt notes: "Stylized plant forms, human figures and an animal are carved around the outer edges on both faces."
