MHM Catalog: "Dark wood bowl (black walnut) with natural appearance from the wood grain. Bowl is wide with rounded bottom and two very short tri-ridged ears or handles opposite of each other. Bowl has a very smooth finish, and a nice dark patina except for the bottom center where the wood has a lightened some. An accompanying spoon is included in this donation."
