Colourful beaded cap in the style of a Glengarry bonnet. Velvet. Imagery includes flowers, branches surrounding a dove or small bird on each side. Haudenosaunee.

Black velvet, pink, brown, and metallic flower patterned tape edging, red silk lining, paper interfacing; Beads; size 10 translucent clear, grey-mauve, burgundy, green, mustard; size 10 opaque white, rose, light blue, teal, mustard, red; size 13 green, blue-grey, size 15 or 17 light pink; metal sequins (tarnished)

Made of three panels, two sides and a top, tape ending ends in two bows at back

Bird in centre of each side, stylized floral (same both sides)

Other Notes

CW: True translucent red beads with opaque white lining were called "white heart" beads and were highly valued
