Introduction
A Hodenosaunee black ash splint woven basket. Part of the Jamieson collection, this basket was acquired by the Woodland Cultural Centre from W. Skinner in December, 1994.

The basket is woven from black ash splints. The wooden handle appears to be carved, and the top of the basket appears to be reinforced with a stronger splint of wood.
