Wicker basket with handle, Rounded wooden hoop lashed with cotton string forms the opening of the basket, A second hoop set at right angles forms the mid-line brace for basket and handle, hoop overlaps in bottom, lashed with cotton string, handle is flattened ovoid in cross section with the top portion left unpeeled, Four carved semi-circular braces woven into basket on each side of mid-line hoop, wicker woven in over-under technique perpendicular to handle, Three decorative bands created using unpeeled withes with reddish-brown colour, as well as semi-circular area intersection point of hoops.

Dimensions: 45 × 43 × 36 cm
Condition: Good, Some broken withes, especially in bottom area of basket
