Techniques or Format

Body of bag is made of wool cloth. Bag strap, front panel and tabs are loom woven. Edging done in red and green fabric ribbon. Above the opening of the bag are two small beaded pockets. Woven tabs end in wool yarn tassels. Bag is lined with patterned fabric. Back of bag is undecorated black wool and plaid patterned fabric.

Motifs and Patterns

Equal-armed cross alternate with leaf or foliate shapes. Four-petaled flowers, or quatrefoils and other floral motifs on small beaded pockets. Geometric motifs on front panel and tabs. Ottertail motif borders woven front panel.
