The central panel and strap are loom-woven beadwork. Also a strip of loom-woven b/w surrounding whole panel of bag. Pouch is a real pouch. The bag is formed by folding a single piece of brown velveteen. Another piece of cotton velvet forms the back and top of pouch. The entire bag is bound with wool tape of a kaki-green color (no evidence of fading). . Tassels of tubular beads ternimating in hand-made yarn tassels.
Unusual pictorial image of two deer in landscape in central panel (probably from a stencil). This is surrounded by 6 petal flowers. The whole panel is surrounded by a border of step-triangles that completes a single piece of loomwork (all part of the same piece) Strap: Hourglass variation like "pinwheel" design; crawfish variation; unusual "x" and pair of crosses, or arrow inside the crawfish design. Repeating pattern of two motif clusters with suttle vatiations on every one; on one side there are two completely different, forming a third motif cluster. Lineal beadwork with variations of otter-tail and zig-zag . Step-triangle motif edging panel and side strap. Strap: woven in one piece with 14 individual design motif clusters, including a triple row of green diamonds tmarks division between two sides of the strap, but not in exact center (7 design clusters on proper left and 6 proper right).
