Introduction
Beaded purse from early 1909 or before, constructed of two pieces of short pile black velveteen with a cardboard interlining for stiffening, and a lining of scarlet glazed cotton. The bottom edge is rounded, the opening is covered by a flap with a pointed tip, an extension of the back piece. A metal hook and loop fastener is sewn on the flap. Beaded animal is next to the 1909, may be either wolf or a dog. Tuscarora.
