bag
This bag with strap is made of tanned deerskin with two panels and gusseted side gore. The front and back panels of the bag are ornamented in geometric designs in single quill and zigzag band techniques. The strap is decorated with appliquéd silk ribbon and edged with white glass beads. Due to its similarity in design to later Seneca beaded bags, it is possible this bag is Seneca, Haudenosuanee (RP).
Possible attribution based on style. This bag seems to relate to later beaded Seneca bags (RP).
