A moose-hide pouch with a netted quillwork panel collected by British Army officer Jasper Grant between 1800-1809. Probably Anishinaabe or Cree.

Other Notes

The simple and bold geometric elements occur in the art of Great Lakes peoples such as the Winnebago, Sauk and Fox. It displays stylized images which probably refer to upper world manitos, the Thunderbirds.
