Techniques or Format

board has scalloped edge at top; bow secured with nails, tied onto board with twine/hide thong. Wrapper in yellow flannel with black cotton tape. Remnants of paint found on bow/backboard. Back: crossbar secured with nails. Carved floral and bird designs and painted. Paint is worn away in some areas.
