Information on the catalogue card.

Materials

wood, nails, leather thong, cotton rope, thinner dark navy woolen cloth, purple silken ribbon (faded to a greenish gold colour), blue cotton tape, brown velvet, opaque white beads size 12, beige thread, black thread, wire, metal.

Techniques or Format

The wrapper is made of two pieces of cloth sewn together. It has been repaired: black thread has been used to mend a hole. A piece of brown velvet has been sewn onto the wrapper where it is secured against the leather thong and cradleboard, perhaps to reinforce the cloth. A second, narrower, piece of cloth, edged with blue tape, is wrapped around the base of the cradleboard.

Dimensions: 0 × 17 × 0 cm
Condition: The purple silken ribbon has deteriorated, and there is a bit of bead loss on the wrapper.
