Cylindrical wooden shaft, notched at one end to receive bowstring, split at opposite end for insertion of base of point. Point is lanceolate, of iron. Point/shaft join is lashed with oiled twine. At opposite end, two split and trimmed feathers (owl feathers?) are lashed at either end with oiled twine. Shaft is stained brown.;;
