This address is a full page of text with a double border in gold, with a looped corner detail. It is addressed to Lord Dufferin on behalf of Band Chief, Ojibway Chief S. James. This is possibly Solomon James who was a chief from the Parry Sound area, who was active in writing petitions and in acting as secretary to the Grand Council of Indians, particularly those from Lake Huron and Southern Ontario (see collection files).
