A Salish basket from Northwest Coast. Gift from E. Pauline Johnson to her brother Allen. Pauline lived in Vancouver and became good friends with Chief Joe Capilano and his family, having met them earlier in London.
Woven baby moccasins. Belonged to Mrs. George H.M. Johnson (mother of Pauline, Evelyn and Allen). May have been decorative items rather than intended for use.
