Techniques or Format

separate panels for front and back, sewn on flaps on both sides, seems to be a stiff lining material, maybe paper, between the lining and the top material. Both the flaps and the bag are lined with polished cotton, bound with red cotton fabric, opening is trimmed with red silk ribbon, handle made of green cotton tape, looped fringe made of a continuous strand. Twisting probably not original. No pocket under flap. Beadwork technique is lazy stitch. Beads slightly overlapped in some places to create a raised effect. Floral motifs are done in two-tone shading

Motifs and Patterns

Stylized flowers and leaves. Motifs and colours appear to be the same on both sides
