Introduction

This relative, a deer hide bag, is decorated in porcupine quill embroidery, metal cones, and blue glass beads. Unfortunately, the shoulder strap is missing/lost. Although the origins of this bag are unclear, it is presumed to have been made in the late 18th to early 19th century.

This relative currently resides in the National Museum of Ireland.
