Cylindrical wooden shaft (slightly warped), notched at one end to receive bowstring, at opposite end, split to receive base of point. Point is triangular, of iron. Point shaft join is lashed with oiled twine. Similar lashing around opposite end, originally securing feathers. (feathers now missing).;;
