Possibly Manitoulin: Alan Corbiere says there is a family Shabine at M'Chigeeng, Manitoulin Island; also a Shabeno in Michigan, a Potawatomi who became an Odawa Chief in 19th c. The accession document does not state Manitoulin Isl provenance, but other objects in same grouping do.
