Dug up in 1900 about 3 miles west of the current Ottawa village with NMAI items 01/0240 + 01/0241 by Wyman.

Wyman indicated that this ornament was said to belong to the son of Chief "Pawanas" who signed the 1781 treaty document seeling Michilimackinac island to the British.
