Black woolen broadcloth leggings hemmed at either end, Black thread used for sewing leggings, Decoration consists of rectangular panel of same fabric heavily beaded, Panel bordered with purple ribbon which is itself bordered on the inner side with a single white line of beads and its outer border with a 2 bead edging, Sinew used for beadwork, and beadwork is backed on paper.

Provenance
Collection handed down intact from McTavish to his eldest child. Edith McTavish married Robert Rogers. Mrs Rogers was the first woman MLA in Manitoba (1920) who gave the collection to Margaret (Rogers) Konantz whose eldest son William Konantz made the donation to The Manitoba Museum.
