Woven with a red wool warp and vegetable fibre wefts. Decorated with glass beads in dark and light blue, medium blue, white, gold, green and turquoise.
Loom woven, with 29 rows.
A row of four concentric squares, separated by a pattern of stepped truncated triangles. This triangle motif could represent the base of pine tree found on the Hiawatha belt, or images associated with an underwater being. AC said the meaning of this motif depends upon its orientation.
