Introduction

These relatives, a pair of moccasins, are composed of black dyed deer hide, moose hair embroidery, and ribbon. Embroidery design is floral, including red, green and yellow dyed hair, located on the cuffs and centre seam. One moccasin is in fragments. The origins of the moccasins are not certain; however, they have probable connections to the Huron-Wendat.

This relative currently resides at the National Museum of Ireland.
