A pouch decorated with beadwork. Hodenosaunee, probably made in the late 19th to mid 20th century. Part of the Jamieson collection and donated to the Woodland Cultural Centre in June of 1994.

leather, brown (commercially tanned?); hide fringe; faceted seed beads, brown and red; larger bead, brown; twine, brown; thread, brown.

Techniques or Format

Made from four pieces of leather, sewn together. The upper part has two pieces of twine laced through to form a drawstring.
