Common/coarse red stroud with corded list (.875 inch list), size 11 glass seed beads (opalescent, clear green, opaque yellow), narrow navy silk ribbon
Each legging is a single piece of wool cloth folded in half; they were sewn from bottom up (but now unsewn so unclear on how far up they were once sewn). Beadwork is on cloth and stitches go all the way through. Silk ribbon edging from about 2/3 up leg down and around to inside cuff edge. Cuff is trimmed from outside point to inside fold so inside is shorter, thus creating a slightly pointed outer cuff.
Beadwork: rows of ottertail on one side (front); one row on other side (back) one row of ottertail. Bottom/cuff design is Iroquois-type celestial domes and goes all the way around (front and back).
NMAI records indicate that item was collected by Alber Heath in 1919.
