Materials

Two kinds of red woolen cloth (broadcloth?); geenish gold silken ribbon, sizes 11 and 14 or 16 opaque white beads; beige thread; brown thread; bluish-grey residue.

Techniques or Format

Each legging is made from a single piece of red cloth with a 9cm wide strip of a looser woven red cloth sewn around the top. They are cut to flare out slightly at the bottom, and are sewn up with a space left at the top, where the cloth strip has been sewn on. There is a bluish-grey residue on some of the beaded edging, and a few spots on one legging.

Dimensions: 39 × 21.5 × 0 cm
Condition: Good. Some deterioration of the silken ribbon.
