Other Notes

On-site researchers: model of canoe with fairly naturalistic floral motifs along both sides; unusual strip of bark along "keel" area is decorated with quillwork both long sides. Probably made for sale as a souvenir. A beautiful example, similar to one in the Pitt Rivers museum collected in 1860.

Condition: Good, some quill loss/damage
