Techniques or Format

Made of birchbark with sweet grass whip-stitched to the edges of bark. The canoe has inset bark panels sewn at both ends and up-curving ends, with vertical seams in the centre sides of the canoe. The sides and top panels are decorated with porcupine quillwork.
