The Weltmuseum is an ethnographic museum located in Vienna, Austina. It has collections from all over the world.

"Established in 1912 as the Municipal Museum in Rochester, New York, the Rochester Museum & Science Center has constantly expanded and evolved to meet the changing needs of our community.

The Museum’s first curator, Edward D. Putnam, served from 1913 until 1924, when New York State Archaeologist Arthur C. Parker became museum director. Parker developed the Museum’s holdings and research in anthropology, natural history, geology, biology, and the history and industry of the Genesee Region. Deeply committed to serving the community, Parker saw the Museum as a “university of the common man.” Among Parker’s most important legacies were a WPA-funded program, the Indian Arts Project, and the construction of Bausch Hall.

In 1945, W. Stephen Thomas, a trained museum professional from Philadelphia's Academy of Natural Sciences, succeeded Arthur Parker. His enthusiasm for learning was contagious, and he encouraged staff and volunteers to interact with museum visitors within the galleries and through outreach efforts in the community. His tenure saw the creation of state-of-the art dioramas and tremendous growth of collections in history, technology, natural science, archaeology, and anthropology."

From the Museum's website: "The National Museum is Denmark’s state, cultural historical main museum, covering both Denmark and foreign cultures. The National Museum wishes to make its rich collections as accessible as possible, so that they can form an inspiring basis for research, teaching, understanding and interpretation of cultural history. The National Museum carries out a number of key tasks on a national level, within the following areas in particular: archaeology, cultural anthropology, numismatics, ethnography, natural science, conservation, communication, advice on church restoration, handling of treasure trove (‘danefæ’) and loan of the museum’s objects."

Holds the Manuscript papers of Sir William Johnson, many of which were destroyed in a 1911 fire. The 14 volume printed collection of the Sir William Johnson papers is the main source today. See https://nysl.nysed.gov/msscfa/sc7005.htm.

The Musée d'Angoulême is located in Angoulême, France. It has ethnographic, archaeological and fine art collections.

The Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library at the University of Toronto houses the Department of Rare Books and Special Collections. Items of interest to GRASAC researchers include the 1664 Historiæ Canadensis, Indigenous cook books and dictionaries, archival correspondence, and wampum.
